Okay, so obviously it is important to get photos of the bride, groom, parents, and all the wedding party. But how about the smiling faces of your friends and extended family? How about the candid portraits, such as this one, that you will look back at for years, going–”Wow, that really captures their spirit.”

Tip: keep a running list of people you want to make sure your photographer catches. Steve does his best to get shots of everyone he can, and a lot of the time he just spontaneously captures a glowing face or an enthusiastic dancer, and the bridal couple are just thrilled. But it never hurts to jot down a list of your important guests.

I’m not sure how this couple was involved in the wedding, or related, etc. to the couple, but I’m totally in love with their relaxed and happy glow.

This Sunday will be our last wedding show of the year, and we’d love to meet you. 300 Spring in downtown Jeff is a great location for weddings and receptions, and Mary Beth Zoller knows how to take care of brides and grooms. She puts on a very elegant wedding show. Her location is close to downtown Louisville, and accessible to all Southern Indiana friends and family, as well, so plan on stopping by. This is a pic from a couple of years ago, when Sean was a baby. Steve is holding up a picture of himself, and we are comparing how much he looks like our youngest son.

My favorite photo of Steve–I took it last year on vacation.

This is from a photo from a story the Courier-Journal did on 07/07/07 weddings. Steve was doing an engagement session with his couple for that very popular day.
