Wedding Lake Reflection – Duncan Memorial Wedding, Crestwood, Ky

November 5th, 2007 by Louisville photographer Stephen A Harmon

This photo taken behind the Duncan Memorial Wedding Chapel in Crestwood, Kentucky. I could have worked with them at this location forever!!! There were so many nice little locations like this on the property, but unfortunately, schedule did not allow. I had to make the best of my time there to really do the location justice for my clients and a little pre-wedding day site survey did just that. I hardly every visit a new location for the first time on a wedding day unless it’s too far away. And if distance is a factor, I really make sure that time is not, arriving with ample time for a site survey and really plan my photographs.

Gone With the Wind

Before all is said and done, Steve will probably bring out the blue and green in this photo to make it a touch more vivid, but…oh, man. Is this not Gone With the Wind? So awesome. So romantic.

If this were my wedding photo, I would buy a poster-size print for the living room. Absolutely. Because that’s what I want to see each day when I open the door and walk in through the door.

Beautiful.

Meant to be

September 7th, 2007 by Louisville photographer Stephen A Harmon

This couple is so awesome, Steve got out in the creek to get this photo. And look at that lighting! Brian and Gina are not just gorgeous and golden, it’s like the two of them are walking on sunshine in this pic.

Steve shot this at Cherokee Park. It’s one of his favorite spots, and yet, the photos are always different. I think it has to do with the lighting, the couple, the angles, the mood.

Anyway, I love this one. They’re having a Christmas wedding.

K-I-S-S-I-N-G

September 7th, 2007 by Louisville photographer Stephen A Harmon

You know, recently someone said he noticed Steve and I put a lot of photos of the two of us kissing on our website.

We kind of looked at one another.

“Of us?”

“Yeah, it was a couple of people kissing a lot…” said the man.

We realized that what he’d been seeing were engagement photos. And wedding photos. So, yeah, there are a lot of kissing photos on our pages!

But, sadly, none of them are of Steve and I kissing. Maybe we should put up some like that. We’d have to do it by remote control, I guess.

Anyway, if I could have a photo of Stephen and me to have on my desk at work, or hang on my wall at home, or carry in my wallet, I would have to say, it would be one like this. I love everything about this photo. These two people are in love.

Maybe that is why I post a lot of kissing photos on Steve’s site. Some of them just really grab me, because of the emotion I see in them.

This is one of them.

Enjoy!
