Do not forget the wedding show this Sunday the KY State Fairgrounds! It is the biggest show in the area and the most comprehensive–there may be other shows, but pretty much all those vendors will be at this one, so don’t miss it.

We do typically run a show special that can save you hundreds of dollars, so it pays to bring your checkbook and book AT the show. Reserve your date before someone else does, because we only do one wedding per day.

Just a quick word on wedding package prices. Due to increasing technology costs, we’re going to have to raise our package prices for the first time in five years. We haven’t decided how much yet, or when exactly these prices will take effect, but if you are considering booking Stephen A Harmon Photography for your wedding or event in the coming year, you might want to contact Steve now before prices go up.

We totally understand wanting and needing to save money. As most of our clients know, we are a very small family business, and photographing your weddings and special days is not just our income–it is a huge part of our family’s life. Your satisfaction and happiness mean the world to us, because it’s more than your photos that establish our reputation.

It’s our goal to remain one of the best values for your money in the Southern Indiana and Louisville, KY markets. We really feel like we have provided that from the beginning, and we would like to continue to charge a reasonable rate for the outstanding value of award-winning photography you receive.

When new prices go into effect, they’ll go live on the site, and there should be a blog entry announcing them. You’ve got some time, but I’m honestly *not* sure how much time. At this point it could be a matter of days, or a matter of weeks. When the new prices go into effect, they will be effective immediately.

This Sunday will be our last wedding show of the year, and we’d love to meet you. 300 Spring in downtown Jeff is a great location for weddings and receptions, and Mary Beth Zoller knows how to take care of brides and grooms. She puts on a very elegant wedding show. Her location is close to downtown Louisville, and accessible to all Southern Indiana friends and family, as well, so plan on stopping by. We’ll be there with prints, albums, photos, etc., and we are running our last sale/special of the year, too–so you can’t miss. Hope to see you there!

This year we had a January sale, for the first time, and it has been a wonderful response. We have heard from brides and grooms getting married in the Louisville area who are planning their weddings from as far away as Canada, and as nearby as Southern Indiana and the surrounding Kentucky counties in and around Jefferson County.

A lot of great locations we’ll be shooting this year! Yew Dell, Glassworks, the Mellwood Arts Center, 300 Spring, the Seelbach, the Brown, Forest Discovery, Louisville Slugger, Churchill Downs–and even if you’re not ready to choose your photographer yet, please feel free to get in touch with us about what locations you’re interested in.
