Steve entitled this set "green screen gone wrong," because he was working with a green screen and wanted to apply some very specific effects. He finally decided he had pushed the images as far as he could, and opted to black & white them all. I still think they came out great.
This shot, to me, is so cute. Great example of a classic senior portrait, with personality and flair. Not stiff, not posed, just cute, smart, full of energy, even seated.

It was an international wedding, with the groom and much of his wedding here from the United Kingdom. Steve shot this wedding in a holler in rural Kentucky. So cool.

At the salon, laid back with the girls, Erin awaits her makeup session, but she's already glowing from the inside.
I love the intimate feeling of this shot. It's unobtrusive, and shows so much emotion. Well done.

Talk about tricky lighting! I was really wanting to get this shot and hold the details in both the shadows and the highlights, so I did a test or two as some of the wedding guests came in the door. I knew the white wedding dress would look cool, but I didn't know how the light would play exactly. Very dramatic entrance for those who turned to look!
One of the last shots I took at the wedding and glad I was able to hand hold the camera and still retain some detail in the shadow areas. This couple had surprises around every corner during their wedding and reception, which turned out to be great photo ops, like traditional Irish dancers and a sparkler exit!
There's something about those freckles! What a beautiful bride.
